The 2025 Regional Startup Solverthon Competition was held to expand startup opportunities beyond the Seoul metropolitan area and into regional communities. The competition was hosted by IITD and jointly organized by nine regional university startup support organizations: the Kangwon National University KNU Startup Promotion Institute, Sunchon National University Startup Support Foundation, Pusan National University Startup Support Foundation, Seoul National University Startup Support Foundation, UNIST Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, Jeonbuk National University Startup Support Foundation, Jeju National University Startup Support Foundation, POSTECH Industry-Academic Affairs Office, and the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Value Creation Center. Y&Archer participated as the operating organization.

In particular, the 2025 Regional Startup Solverthon Competition Demo Day, held on January 20 at the Korea Science and Technology Center, featured booth exhibitions by 30 outstanding regional startup teams.

The event was open to the public and attended by approximately 230 participants, including 30 judges such as investors and evaluators, officials from regional universities and startup support organizations, and general visitors. The program included a keynote speech and a talk concert under the theme “Strategies and Practices for Revitalizing Regional Startups.

Growith (CEO Kang Myungjun) received an Encouragement Award.
