National University has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with 16 youth startups based in the Daejeon and Chungcheong regions and has begun full-scale efforts to promote startup support and develop convergence education content.
Through this agreement, Hanbat National University plans to expand opportunities for students to gain practical experience by strengthening startup mentoring and startup internship programs, while focusing on nurturing future talent equipped with convergence capabilities in the humanities, social sciences, and technology.
In addition, the university will cooperate with startups to enhance software- and AI-based entrepreneurship education and prepare customized programs aimed at cultivating practice-oriented entrepreneurial talent that meets the needs of companies.
The agreement includes the participation of 16 youth startups: OnLab, Biofit, PickCare, Campus, Survival Korea, Ethera, Jongjeong, Growith, Friday, 042 Arts Planning Group, Robest, Smart Newbie, D-Qubator, RS101, Bicycle, and Rollpago.
These companies plan to jointly develop convergence education content with Hanbat National University and establish a cooperative framework that links entrepreneurship and education by providing students with practice-oriented mentoring delivered directly by entrepreneurs. They are also exploring various collaboration models, including the expansion of startup infrastructure, linkage support for startup funding, and the joint operation of programs aimed at strengthening employment and entrepreneurship capabilities.
Through this agreement, Hanbat National University plans to create opportunities for startup founders to directly share their entrepreneurial know-how with students and provide hands-on, practice-oriented experiences. As a result, it is expected that network formation and business model validation—both critical in the early stages of entrepreneurship—will be carried out more smoothly.
